Chart of accounts

Chart of accounts / GL Accounts

Accounting → GL Accounts is the chart of accounts: account number, title, and debit/credit side.

These accounts appear on:

  • Invoice GL lines
  • Deposit and payment coding
  • Credit card statement lines
  • Journal entries
  • Default operating / AP accounts on the client

Keep the chart stable once books are live. New accounts are fine; renaming numbers that already posted will confuse reports.
